Creating a 3D environment to visualise projection mapping

Hey all, just started tinkering with the demo to get to grips with the software.

Given I currently don’t have access to a fulldome, I’m trying to create a basic 3D scene to visualise how the different warp/transform nodes appear on different shapes. The idea here is instead of mapping a 3D scene to a real environment, I want to add the warp/transform nodes before the projection mapper node, and use a 3D scene to view the result.

The above image shows the signal flow of how I want to connect the nodes, but as the warp/transform nodes only output a patch type signal, I can’t connect them to the projection mapper node.

How can I go about achieving this, is it possible?

Use Render Target node for patches like Dome Transform and others. It is a bit confusing, I know
